Low turnout tonight because of the fog but a good evening all the same. Chris L and Chris H and myself had an interesting night doing some 'broken didge' rhythm work and exploring further realms of breathing techniques such as bounce breath and faster patterns using toots which always provides a lot of entertainment.Chris H has been coming on in leaps and bounds and I am quite amazed how quickly he is picking things up! Hope all is OK with everyone and let's all catch up soon. PS With regards to the December date I am lookng at various options and will circulate updates as soon as I can. |

Well we had a pretty full house on Hallowe'en when we were joined by two new members Ed and Chris. They both seemed to settle in well so we hope to see more of them at future sessions. Had quite a lot of fun playing around with toots and building rhythms together. Did miss Tim though as we could have done with some funky African percussion..hope you can be there for the next sessiion Tim?? Anyway we had a thouroughly enjoyable evening with the usual copious amounts of tea! Hope to see you all at the next BDC on the 28th Nov and I will try and remember to send the reminder email this time :) |

Ha! Who needs Mike Jackson?! Not only did we get to play the cute fuzzy African Linx festival at Cropredy this year without gettting rained on, but Tim (well, his lovely girlfriend, actually) took some video of us playing. Here we are getting started... ...me playing my first ever live solo... ...the well-practised Jono... ...our closing number... ...and the encore... I'll upload the full-length, high-quality version later, should anyone want to download it |
