Almost a full house this evening...welcome back Paul!!! We introduced the thirty second solo round for the first time to give everyone a 'feel' for performing in front of everyone else. This went down very well with good input from everyone especially the beginners..looks like this will be included in the routine from now on. Had some fun with rhytms again and enthusing about the up and coming Singing Sticks Festival In its second year it looks like it might be a busy one with the Isle of Wight festivla being cancelled this year. Looking forward also the the Bloxham May Fair as well..should prove to be an interesting day just pray the weather behaves!! Looking forward to seeing everyone in March..keep practicing!!

Had the paps round this evening..well one freelance journaliist from the Sunday Telegraph to be precise! Clive was with us for an hour talking to all of us and taking notes...feedback I got was that  he thoroughly enjoyed himself and referred to us as a diverse bunch of characters. Not sure when the article will be coming out but will let you know as soon as I hear anything. Thanks to Chris and Jon for sorting out the Bloxham May Fair for us..should be interesting (anyone got any ideas for the stall?) hope we can do a couple of workshops as well. Adrian - do hope you can sort out your leaky pipe mate..give Ant a call and I am sure he will help out. Anyway back to the evening and we had a fantastic time wih the rhythm game again and Simon had fun trying to put the hardest one together but Chris managed to accomplish with ease! Lovely to see Paul after such a long time and looking forward to his resuming his 'journey' next month. Overall a wonderful evening and always amazed how time flies when you're having fun. Let's all have bets as to how long it will be before Jon cracks the CB?? Looking forward to seeing you all next month and if we can get an extra session in before then all the better!

Happy Christmas to all!

We all got a great Christmas present....the brand new Banbury Didge Club T-Shirts They look fantastic and everyone was well pleased! Thanks Chris L for sorting those out for us..been a long time coming but well worth the wait

A great evening was had by all and thanks Chris H for the mince pies!. Good effort too from Simon who, despite a fearsome cold, still managed to play for most of the evening! Good rendition of the rhythm game this eveneing and we are at last remembering to write them down! Brought the 7 foot 'G' didge tonight and everyone had a go on it as it is quite hard to play at first! Jon managed to play it straight away which was amazing as when I first bought t I had to call Alastair Black because i thought I was doing something wrong as I couldn't play it at all

Anyway I have posted the dates for this years club meetings so do hope to see you all there...let's make the first of the year a big one!

See you there!!
